  • 276 affected districts.
  • Children <5 represent 32% of the total suspected cases.
  • The proportion of severe cases is 12.7%
  • 194,003 rapid diagnostic tests (RDT) were performed, 49,447 positive RDT.
  • 3,460 confirmed cases.

  • 108,889 suspected cholera cases with 190 associated deaths (CFR 0.17%),
  • 261 affected districts.
  • Children <5 represent 26% of the total suspected cases.
  • The proportion of severe cases is 14%
  • 47,853 rapid diagnostic tests (RDT) were performed, 23,536 positive RDT.
  • 1,086 confirmed cases.

Country level trend

  • From W9 –W11 at the country level, the trend of suspected cases is increasing (+24 %).

Week (11) 2019

  • 17,676 suspected cases and 32 associated deaths.
  • The districts reporting the highest number of cases are: Bani Al Harith (768), Ma’ain (724), Shu’aub (639), As Sabain (551), Hamdan (548).
  • 21 % are severe cases
  • 10,031 RDTs were performed. 6,221 were positive (62%)
  • 24 confirmed results from: Ibb (19), Amanat Al Asimah (4), Al Hudaydah (1).
