Legal Center for Rights and Development is a civil society organization ,which is located in the capital of Sana’a- Its activity has been starting since 2014, also it has been obtaining a license since 2015, and it focus on the fields of community development and the promotion and protection of human rights in accordance with the standards and conventions, which approved internationally and supported the rule of law, document and monitor law and rights violations, the center provides legal aid and assistance to the victims of violations and wars; also, carrying out many activities that are relate to, including monitoring the daily violations that happen nowadays and issue daily reports. In addition,monitoring and documentation of serious violations and issue various reports, also the center issues periodically many statistics of human rights violations and other activities in the relevant field.

Legal Center founded three lawyers, they have been human right activists since 2009, they have scientific competence and practical experience in human rights and development field.

During 2015, legal center is considered as a unique center that focuses on the field of monitoring and documentation and preparing human rights reports, which documented the crimes and violations of Saudi Arabia and its alliance in Yemen since the first attack carried out by warplanes on March 2015, and provided the local and international organizations and official bodies of the reports and statistics for the violations caused by the airstrikes.

The Centre has considerable experience in the field of monitoring and documenting the violations through the field researchers who have been trained and qualified for monitoring and documentation professionalism and impartiality, the Center founded the network of monitors in several provinces of the Republic of Yemen, and has a strong relationship with the establishments and institutions and related organizations.

Within the first year of the starting, Legal center achieved through its activities and outstanding performance a lot of achievements, activities and gain respect and trust of activists and observers of local, regional and international organizations.
