WFP food imports in mt

On 20 December, the Saudi-led coalition announced to keep Yemen’s main Hodeidah port open for a month for both humanitarian
& commercial cargo, including fuel. Shortly after this announcement, two commercial tankers carrying some 39,000 mt of fuel were
cleared to access Hodeidah.
However, no commercial container vessel has been granted EHOC clearance to call Hodeidah port. Therefore, all WFP containerized
cargo allocated for Hodeidah had to be diverted to Aden ( around 1,400 container loaded with some 21,000 MT of food commodities).
